How many people can be photographed in a portrait? We can usually accommodate most groups under thirty. However we can photograph larger groups with sufficient notice or we can make arrangements to make the portraits outside. How do we schedule appointments? All of our sessions are by appointment only. We feel your time is valuable. We try to accommodate schedules while recognizing that we want to make portraits of our clients at the times when they are at their best. We can be reached by phone at 603.626.7300. How long will our session last? The type of session you choose will determine your total time investment. Family sessions are complete in about two hours including time for portrait shopping. When do we purchase our portraits? All images are chosen in our state of the art Premiere room. Image Premieres typically take place immediately following the portrait session, but can be scheduled for another date that best fits you. We recommend that all decision makers are present for your Premiere. We encourage you to bring wall measurements to help in selecting the appropriate size for your home. We do not produce proofs of your session, nor do we post the sessions online for viewing. When do we pay for our portraits? As the nature of this work is custom, we require payment at the time your order is placed. How can we pay for our portraits? We accept cash, personal checks, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard. How long does it take to receive our portraits? Most portrait orders are ready for pick up in about three weeks, however special services such as retouching, canvas mounting, collage building etc. may take longer. Do you offer appointments on the weekend? Yes, we are available for a limited number of Saturday appointments. These appointments tend to fill quickly. Please call early. Our normal Studio operations are Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm. Do you photograph pets? Your family pet is welcome in our studio! Pets are a valued member of your family. We do however reserve the right to refuse certain animals that may pose a risk to the photographer. Can my parents/relatives purchase portraits from my session? Certainly, parents and relatives are welcome to come to our studio to order portraits. If they know the image they are looking for, we are happy to help them over the phone as well. Are you available for travel? Yes, we are available to photograph you and your family at your favorite location. This can include travel throughout the US and abroad. Some travel fees and minimum portrait investments may be required for substantial distances. Is the creation fee per person, or per session? Currently we charge a $90 creation fee in the studio, $125 outside, $165 at your home, $195 for beach portraits or extended families. There is not an extra per person charge. Will you travel to my home? Yes, we love to make portraits at your home. Can we have a session photographed outside? Yes we love the outdoors, and sessions outside can result in great casual portraits. Outdoor sessions start at $125. How much does a family typically invest in their portrait? Depending on the size of your family, you may need more portraits than others. The majority of our families invest $500-$5000 on portraits, framing and gifts for friends and family. Please keep in mind every family's needs vary. How would we view our images if we have a session outside?
